Our Old Neighborhood

Tee – Aritzia / Denim – Levi’s / Shoes – Vince Camuto

There was never a shortage of backdrops in my old neighborhood. Moving day was approaching so I knew I had to get in every last drop. I wanted to make the most of every opportunity that I had in this neighborhood before leaving this story behind and starting a new and exciting chapter. With backdrops like this, it was particularly hard for me to make the decision to move home in the first place, but some things just need to be done. For my own good if not for anything else.

I was skeptical. I had heard from a couple of my friends that moving house is the hardest process that anyone has to deal with in their lifetime. That and getting married and having children. So before I even contemplated starting the process, I made the decision to read the reviews of people similar to these best Vancouver realtors who would be able to help assist me with everything that came with moving home. I was clueless about the whole process, in all honesty, so being able to lean on someone who has all the relevant knowledge and expertise would really make the process a whole lot easier for me. Looking back, now that I have found the perfect house, I’m glad I have made the decisions that I did. But it still doesn’t make leaving this neighborhood and these backdrops any easier.

So, I wanted to make sure I had the most perfect memories to take with me before moving day eventually came around. On this evening one day after work, we actually shot in five different areas (4 only included in this post.) The Mission neighborhood tends to be one of the warmest ones in the city so after work, I’m always ready to leave my jackets behind. I’m wearing a plain white Aritzia tee with a completely open back. It’s a little bit too racy for work so I had a cardigan over it the entire day until we shot. This outfit should be my daily uniform because it’s functional and just the right amount of comfort for anything I’d ever need to do.

I’ll let you know how moving day goes. I’m trying not to worry about it too much just yet as it will just stress me out even more than it should. As my parents always told me, I should take each day as it comes. And once I’ve been able to get in touch with somewhere like these USF Moving Companies, I know that a lot of pressure will suddenly disappear, as my friend has used them for various different moving occasions of her own, and has never had a bad word to say. This fills me with hope, at least. I’m nervous yet very excited at the same time. And, if I decide to wear an outfit like the one in the picture, I’m sure everything will go off without a hitch.
