My friends and I have all been talking about this new show on Hulu – PEN15. Middle school or in my case junior high, could not have been a more awkward time in my life. Now that I’m well into my adult life, I sort of feel like that’s the case for everyone. You say things that you don’t no the meaning of. And you completely react irrationally all of the time. It’s why our parents hate us the most during this time and why we probably hated them.

I finally had the chance to watch the first episode of PEN15 this evening and loved it. It’s as cringeworthy as you would expect, but a kind reminder to yourself that things could have been much worse. It’s a fast watch since all of the episodes are just 30 minutes!
