Golden Gate Park Gains A Ferris Wheel

To celebrate Golden Gate Park’s 150th anniversary in 2020, the park will open up a ferris wheel. While I don’t spend a ton of time here, despite how close I am to it, this is a place where I could spend a full day at. Any time friends of mine come to visit, going to Golden Gate Park feels like a staple because of everything it has to offer – the Japanese Garden, museums, or even the Conservatory of Flowers. There isn’t a shortage of things to do here.

As touristy as a ferris wheel sometimes seems, I still love the novelty of it. To ride this one, you’ll have to fork up $18 so it better be good. The Ferris Wheel will stand at 120 feet tall which is as high as the observation deck at the De Young Museum. The ride itself will be about 12 minutes long and each carriage will hold 10 people.
