I know it seems like we stray away from color during the fall season, but maybe 2020 will be different for us. I’m loving all of these in bright hues, but balanced with monochrome.Read more “Dorothee Schumacher”
In their latest announcement, McDonald’s is sharing the addition of two new chicken sandwiches to their breakfast menu. Looks like they aren’t the only fast food joint to get in on this craze! For a limited time and nationwide, McDonalds will serve up a Chicken McGriddles and McChicken Biscuit. Based on the photographs, while appetizing, I’m wondering what’s up with the lack of egg? I mean, is this honestly a breakfast sandwich without one?
It was difficult to watch the Grammy’s yesterday evening when there was a very obvious dark cloud over the event. The loss of Kobe Bryant was touched on a number of times during the show and to be honest, it’s still carrying over today and will continue for some time. In comparison to other Grammy Awards, yesterday’s was all about the performances and a handful of key awards. Not much was presented on stage aside from from presenting the performers. Here are just a few of my favorites.
YouTube won’t give me the videos of all the performances I want to highlight, but I can share three from these amazing ladies. For Demi, this was her first performance since she overdosed in 2018 and was hospitalized. Camila’s ‘First Man’ single is a dedication to her father and it’s impossible to watch this without having a wet face afterwards.
Other performances that make my list include:
I hate to sound like a broken record about this, but let’s continue to have more female artists and bands on our lineups and headlining.

It’s bittersweet to be watching the red carpet this evening. With the news of Kobe and his daughter’s passing, it’s not surprising that celebrities want to get across the carpet without doing any interviews. Still, as everyone has been saying ‘the show must go on’ and while difficult, it’s turning out to be pretty great so far. Tonight, we’re highlighting look and tomorrow we’ll share our favorite performances including the tribute to Kobe.

There is no doubting how talented Halsey is as a performer because she’s been the musical guest on Saturday Night Live for two consecutive seasons. And each time, she continues to blow me away. I first heard of “You Should Be Sad” not too long ago and didn’t recognize the country spin on it at first. I’m a little embarrassed to say that I wrote off Halsey way back when after her first collaboration with The Chainsmokers. While that may have been one sliver of her career, it definitely doesn’t speak to the rest of it showcasing just how much she can do. I was a fan of both of her performances last year, but these two are now my favorites!

We are nearly a month out from our trip to Thailand! Since this year is littered with weddings and wedding activities, this is our one trip that is just for us. I’m looking forward to our stay at three different resorts and exploring the different islands, but we’ve got some work to do before then. That work includes shopping for a roster of swimsuits to hold us over for a week. Below are some of my favorites that I’m lusting after:Read more “Thailand Swimwear Pack List”
