It’s a funny thing to watch your tastes in fashion change over the years. When we first created Yow Yow! and were doing fashion posts like this, it was 2010. Back then, I was terrified of prints. The thought of wearing a piece that couldn’t be worn with ten other items in my closet felt like an irresponsible purchase. As I watch myself get older, it’s those unique pieces that I gravitate towards. I’m going to match a plaid with a bright neon sweater? We’re up to that challenge!

Anna Sui, though I loved and admired her when I was younger was not a brand I considered wearable. Now, this is all that I love. If you go back into the archives, you might notice that we spent many fashion weeks not even highlighting her collections. Oh how the times have changed for us!
