The Spring We Never Had

It was around the beginning of summer that I wanted to write a post centered around the senior year that got taken away from many students in 2020. Looking back on my own senior year, it was such a precious time for me! I can look back now and laugh because it was really 25% school and 75% fun and extracurriculars. Seniors this year were instead confined to their homes for shelter-in-place. It’s really no surprise to anyone that they were a group that caved early on and wanted to get back to their normal social lives. Honestly, who can blame them?

Wong Fu’s “The Spring We Never Had” captures those lost experiences in two leads. It follows a similar format that we’ve seen before. There’s a bit of young, innocent, romance, but some tug-at-your-heart-strings-you-might-tear-up material. I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did!
