Thanksgiving 2020

For a holiday that is based on the foundation of traditions, this year we are throwing all of that out the window. Do we even have a say in the matter? Even though I’ve been in California for nearly a decade, this will be my first time spending Thanksgiving here in the Bay and to say that I’m feeling a little deer in headlights is an understatement. Prix-fixe menus have never really been our thing and the same goes with a Thanksgiving meal that is re-heated. This is not something I know much about, but we’re taking a leap and hoping it doesn’t fail. Whatever the case, I’m looking forward to maybe some non-traditional dishes that I don’t typically get at Thanksgiving and an entire day of football.

Also for those of you who are ordering pre-made Thanksgiving meals for the first time, did all of you know how competitive this would be? Some San Francisco restaurants are already completely sold out! Luckily, I snagged ours before that happened, but if I had waited any longer, things could have gotten dicey. Now with one thing off my list, it’s one less thing to worry about for the holiday.
