UltraBOOST DNA in “Topography”

When it comes to my own wardrobe, bright hues are not what I gravitate towards. My sneaker style though is much different! It’s the part of my outfit that I’m not afraid to be colorful for. I don’t consider myself much of a runner, but I actually love these neon colors together so much. I have also been watching a new K-drama called “Run On” in which, you guessed it – the lead is a runner so this is likely my subconscious telling me I need these.

The majority of this UltraBOOST is covered in “Solar Red,” but it’s the supporting magenta and navy colors that make this unique. “Topography” is even a fitting name for this as it reminds me of my previous science classes growing up. As of right now, there is no set release date, but the shoe is slated to be sold at $180 USD.

adidas UltraBOOST DNA in “Cloud White”

I’m loving this moment that plain white sneakers are having. Growing up, I was attached to my Keds, but as I got older, I started gravitating towards what I would consider an updated basic. This adidas UltraBOOST satisfies the foundation of a white sneaker with metallic accents. Doesn’t the touch of silver make this more sleek? This “Cloud White” is a minimalist dream, but with an edge. adidas UltraBOOST 19 Is Pure White

There’s a level of risk that comes with purchasing completely all-white shoes. I accepted that challenge last year when I bought my white Something Navy boots from Nordstrom. Every now and then I’ll get compliments from people who are impressed with how white I’ve kept them. However, I’ll be the first to admit that they are less than perfect. There’s just not possible way to keep anything that clean when you live in San Francisco. Honestly, I once debated as having them only worn indoors ie) only in my office.

My experience with these has taught me that I could probably do this all over again. I’m obsessed with my UltraBOOST sneakers even years later and these pictured above look so good. These are going for $180. Excuse me, while I try to find these in a kids size to purchase.

Shoe Envy: adidas Edition

Receiving my adidas UltraBOOST last year was one of my favorite presents! Sure, it was in a kids size, but honestly it made no difference. I’m a believer that you should own at least five different staple shoes at all times: a pair of boots, heels, fancy black heels, flats, and sneakers. Of these shoes though, I sort of think you can never have enough sneakers because they come in so many colors and variations. A good pair of white sneakers (like those Rank & Style put together) can serve so many different uses and functions. It is super handy to have a bunch of different styles around! I read Hypebeast and Hypebae regularly that every time I visit the site, I’ve found a new sneaker that I need to add to my wish list.

I love the sleek look of these UltraBOOSTS, but because they aren’t perfectly white. Instead they’re peppered which gives them a little bit more of an edge. Currently it is on retail for $180. You can make a purchase for them [here]

As a contrast, I’m also a huge fan of these sneakers for men – the UltraBOOST 19 in “Dark Pixel.” Unlike the other pair, this base is dark and instead its details feature a multi-colored pattern that is still quite subtle. Have to say, they’re super cool right? No price has been listed yet, but it’s set to be release in the new year on January 4th.

Parley x adidas Originals UltraBOOST

Kevin and I are an adidas fam now because we both gifted each other with a pair of adidas for Christmas. It’s true, I’m finally an UltraBOOST owner and I couldn’t be more excited. The only thing about them is that they’re so pretty I don’t even want to wear them. I love this new collab with Parley because of how winter themed it appears. The light blue mixed in with the black and white gives it this total icy look. Is it too soon to ask for another pair? Probably, yes, but the good news for me is that this probably won’t even be released until August 18th – just in time for me to snag my second pair.
