Kerry Washington in Prada
I may have missed the entire show from being at work and out to dinner, but we’d never miss a chance of covering the red carpet.
I can’t believe it’s time already for the most fashionable night of the year! It’s crazy to think that a year has already gone by. I feel like I was making the 2013 post just last month. This year’s theme is White Tie and Decorations.
Of course we’re kicking things off with Queen Bey and Jay.

Girls’ actress Allison Williams (25) who plays “Marnie” on the show is engaged to her boyfriend of three years Ricky Van Veen who also happens to be the co-founder of College Humor. The two met through mutual friends. Marnie’s love life on the HBO series hasn’t always been as seamless as we had hoped it to be, but we’re thrilled that she’s in love in real life!
Additionally, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are ALSO engaged! They were never really my favorite couple in television, but we love Mila Kunis so if she’s happy – we’re happy. She stepped out recently with a rock on her finger and E! finally confirmed today that she is indeed engaged.

Happy Monday readers! Yesterday brought out some of the best in red carpet wear and along with that…some of the worse. We’re kicking off this red carpet post, however, with the best hosts this show has ever seen. Luckily for us, we get them for another year!
Rose Byrne in Custom Calvin Klein Collection
I wasn’t that into the Emmy’s this year for some reason and that could’ve been for a few reasons:
Typically when we cover award shows, we generally just stick to the fashion and that’s exactly what we’re going to do again. But here are the winners in case you are wondering – – via Refinery29
Rose Byrne’s gown was easily one of my favorites from the entire evening!
Miley Cyrus in vintage Dolce & Gabbana
Unfortunately, I was up in the air en route to San Jose this past Sunday while the MTV Video Music Awards was happening and had to miss the entire show! Just as I was getting into my seat a video was released of Justin Timberlake’s performance, but as expected I had to put my phone away RIGHT before the *NSYNC reunion. Just my luck. Coming home today, I was hoping to watch the show on my OnDemand, but reached another dead end when I saw that it hadn’t been released! So as I write this post, I haven’t seen anything, but I’ve heard lots of opinions regarding Miley Cyrus and some of the outfit choices. Here are some of the outfits worth mentioning.
Who: Allison Williams
Wearing: Missoni
Where: 18th Annual Nantucket Film Festival
It’s the biggest night in fashion of the year and for the past four years, we have been covering the annual Met Gala. This year’s theme was Punk: Chaos to Couture and the celebrities did it well. Here – Dakota Fanning looks phenomenal in Rodarte.

Oh it’s St. Patrick’s Day tomorrow? I almost forgot because it’s actually the season finale of Girls and that’s all I’ve had on my mind. Questions that I need answered in this finale? Will Marnie get back together with Charlie? I sure hope so. Will Adam choose Hannah? I really liked Shiri Appleby’s character… What will Shoshanna do next?!
So many questions…need more than a 30-minute episode.
Nylon created this drinking game for tomorrow’s big event:
Throughout the episode (airing this Sunday, March 17 at 9pm on HBO), take a sip every time:
– Hannah takes her shirt off
– Adam takes his shirt off
– Marnie sings and makes everyone around her uncomfortable
– Shoshanna is wearing some insane hairstyle
– Jessa appears (seriously, what happened to her?)
– Charlie does something that just confirms he’s a total babe
– Ray wears dad jeans
– Patrick Wilson makes an appearance (it could happen…in our dreams)
– Someone gets married, breaks up, or ends up in Coney Island with just a piece of cake
Because this moment is unforgettable
