In Case You Missed It… Zoolander 2

As we all know, our favorite models Derek and Hansel walked the Valentino runway earlier this week and it wasn’t just a random decision. They are, in fact, making a Zoolander sequel and this was the most perfect way for them to reveal the news. Zoolander 2 is slated to be released February 12, 2016. Can you believe that it will have been 15 years since the first movie was released? I’m so curious now about what my 11-year-old self thought about that film.

And what! They also got to meet Anna Wintour. They really went all out for publicity.

Bee Shaffer Talks Being Anna Wintour’s Daughter

Independent of being Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour’s daughter, Bee Shaffer is kind of like a silent style icon. She doesn’t care about fashion all that much and works in the television industry for Late Night with Seth Meyers. However, when she needs to make an appearance like say… at the Met Gala she’s there. Bee is beautiful and her mother is the only name anyone would ever need to know in the fashion industry. Based off of the character “Miranda” in The Devil Wears Prada, everyone is naturally curious about what it’s like to call the ice queen Mom.

2014 Met Gala

I can’t believe it’s time already for the most fashionable night of the year! It’s crazy to think that a year has already gone by. I feel like I was making the 2013 post just last month. This year’s theme is White Tie and Decorations.

Hillary Clinton For President in 2016?

Could it be? Is America ready for a woman to become President? We just might be! Word on the street is that Hillary Clinton is thinking about running in 2016 and she’s already rounding up her troop of supporters – first with Oscar de la Renta and now Vogue Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour. Oscar de la Renta announced his bid for her candidacy at the recent CFDA awards while Wintour expressed her praise for Clinton yesterday evening at the opening of the Oscar de la Renta retrospective.

Wintour first praised Clinton for “always look[ing] entirely appropriate wherever she was”–quite the about face from the Vogue editor considering that in her February 2008 editor’s letter she wrote, “I do think Americans have moved on from the power-suit mentality, which served as a bridge for a generation of women to reach boardrooms filled with men”–and went on to not-so-subtly hint at a Clinton presidency. “It’s anyone’s guess what the next chapter will be for this extraordinary woman,” Wintour told the crowd. “I can only hope that all of you here in Little Rock will be celebrating her come November 2016.”
