Coca-Cola Life

Coca-Cola has announced that they are launching a new brand alternative to the standard Coca-Cola with Coca-Cola Life. We’re loving the grasshopper hue, but what exactly does this mean? Coca-Cola life will apparently be sweetened with both sugar and stevia – a natural calorie-free sugar substitute. The new packaging will also be fully recyclable as it made with 30% plant materials. With half the calories of a normal Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Life will not only be efficient and just plain awesome, but healthier as well.  You heard me. Soda is healthy.

Unfortunately, Coca-Cola Life is only available in Argentina. So I guess we’ll be waiting awhile…

Lady Gaga’s Mini Me

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kkp6qBDqkQ&feature=player_embedded]

8-year-old Laura Fontana is good. She’s super cute and she does Bad Romance and Paparazzi well, but should a girl’s role model really be Lady Gaga? I mean…the woman bleeds randomly! (watch MTV performance) So I’m commentating as I watch this video, and I’m so captivated by her, but for some reason she looks weird to me. Maybe it’s the makeup, I don’t know, but it just seems a little bit much.

I don’t know! Interpret it as you wish!

Catalina Bartolome

Catalina Bartolome is an incredible photographer from Argentina. The artist has published a new series of photographs in which a woman’s face is hidden by some of today’s most common objects. Her photos direct our attention to the positioning of the model, placement and language instead of what we are typically drawn to.

They’re Backkkkkk!

[[click image to read full article]]

So I haven’t been able to snag myself a copy of Seattle Sound Magazine lately, but I recently stumbled upon Eric’s new blog that he started when he got back from his two-year mission in Argentina. But I read the article, and found it really quite interesting. These two lead such interesting lives and now that they are off hiatus, things are really starting up quick for them again. You know who they are… Myspace made their popularity soar. Their hit song, “Beauty in the Breakdown,” was adored by fans all over the world and searching them on Youtube may bring you a hundred if not more attempted covers of their songs.  Currently, the guys are touring the UK.

ANYWAYS. the article is worth reading, the photos shot by Kristen Truax, founder of Blush Photo who has been shooting at shows forever and is someone that I admire very much. It is great to have Eric home again… well… sort of home.
