Not So Fun Fact of the Day

Did you know that more than 50% of men do not own at least one suit?

While that fact isn’t all that surprising, it is still a little concerning to me. Women are pretty much required to own a number of basic pieces in their closet including: the black blazer, a little black dress, a white button up shirt, etc. Seriously, this list could go on forever. In my opinion, aside from a dress shirt, men need to own one basic item and that is a suit. Technically, that’s more than one item, but you know what I mean.

Here’s what you need to know about owning a suit:

The sooner you have one, the more knowledgeable you will be later in life. You don’t want to be buying your first suit at like… 25. You’ll just look like an idiot. It doesn’t matter if you’re a bro or if you’ve lived near a body of water near your whole life. You’ll need a suit eventually. It’s just more impressive if you get it early on.

You can never use the excuse “I have no where to wear it to.” There is always a place or an event and if not, you will find one. You’ll probably want to wear it more than you think.

Don’t be a cheapo. Invest in a good suit because a cheap one will fall apart on you and that’s the second most embarrassing moment next to never owning a suit at all.

Remember that your suit can be tailored.

Wear your suit with confidence! Also, women are suckers for men in a suit. It’s true.
