Good Morning North West!

Nah not Seattle, just Kimye’s bb.

The photo appeared on the season finale of Kris Jenner’s talk show today. OF COURSE IT DID!

Vintage Chinese Babies in Space

photo cred | Retronaut

This is probably the weirdest thing I’ve seen all week, but also the best thing I’ve seen all week. It combines just a couple of my favorite things: Asian babies and space. They are two things that I never would have imagined would work together, but these posters are completely “pulling it off.” [Ted Mosby style with the red cowboy boots] To view the rest, check the source.

Whatthecool Roundup

Have you ever tried sleeping with earbuds? It doesn’t work. By morning, my earbuds are entangled in my ears and/or they feel sore from having headphones wedged in. I suppose that’s why SleepPhones was created and apparently it’s supposed to be the “most comfortable headphones for sleeping.” UM. Do want. Only $39.95 [Source]

Babies

Tonight, I finally set aside some time to watch the Babies documentary and it really is as cute as it sounds. The documentary follows the first year of four babies in four different parts of the world. I posted this trailer back in December of 2009 when I first heard about the movie. After watching this, I have discovered a few things:

1) My favorite babies from this movie [it’s a tie!] are the trouble making Bayar from Mongolia who seems to never be around his parents and Miss Hattie from San Francisco with the hippie parents.

2) Babies are fearless. They do certain things because they don’t know any better, but somehow I still found myself cringing in my seat worried for their safety. Part of me was thinking that if I were a baby, I wouldn’t do any of those things, but then again what do I know? I’m watching this movie with 20 years of life experience. Here is probably a good time to mention that keeping an eye on a baby is vital, baby monitors, nanny cams etc… Anything is good as long as there’s a pair of eyes on them!

3) The children featured in this movie are now around the age of four. They are going to grow up with this spectacular video documentary of themselves and I am awfully jealous. Those early years are the most important because you’re not going to remember any of it when you’re older unless it’s documented. BRB searching for my home videos now.

This documentary was a joy to watch. There’s not a lot of dialog – HOBviously because they’re babies – but it just goes to show that sometimes it isn’t always necessary. Get ready for your heart to melt.

4 babies. 4 locations around the world. This has to be one of the cutest movie  trailers that I’ve seen in a very long time. I hope that I get a chance to view this documentary.

And even though I’m nineteen going on twenty, I cannot wait for the day that I can have my very own little girl or boy. But seriously, watching this trailer just might heighten your feelings about it.
