Yow Yow’s Favorite New Couple

Just in time for Valentine’s Day!!!

Would you ever believe that The OC’s Seth Cohen and Gossip Girl’s Blair Waldorf would get together? Of course not, but now that it has happened, it is pretty much the best thing ever. Adam Brody is the ultimate dreamboat and Leighton Meester is just so darling that there’s no way this wouldn’t work out. Please get married now. I know I said I would never be happy if Adam Brody got together with anyone that wasn’t Rachel Bilson, but I am retracting that statement.

XOXO

Blair: Why aren’t you in Europe?

Chuck: I was in Paris only to get your favorite macaroons from Pierre Herme.

Blair: And Germany?

Chuck: To pick up your favorite fall stockings. You know how I adore them.

Blair: What are you doing here then?

Chuck: You were right. I was a coward running away again. Everywhere I went, you caught up with me. I had to come back.

Blair: I want to believe you, but I can’t. You’ve hurt me too many times.

Chuck: You can believe me this time.

Blair: Oh…that’s it?

Chuck: I love you too.

Blair: But, can you say it twice? No, I’m serious… say it twice.

Chuck: I love you, I love you, that’s three. Four. I love you.

(End Scene!)

SWOOON!!! I’m four months too late watching the previous season finale of Gossip Girl, but I made up this whole to do list on the airport today and I figured, this needed to be checked off tonight. I never really liked the idea of Blair and Chuck together, but I kid you not when he finally said I love you, I literally punched the air with my fist. [super hero style]

PS: The new season starts Monday, September 14th

Target Picks up Anna Sui

Target’s next collaboration is with fashion designer Anna Sui!! Exciting! She says that many of her looks for this collection are inspired by the stars in the hit television show Gossip Girl.

Now we can all dress like Blair and Serena and maybe Little J. But I’m really talking about Blair!

Gossip Girl Wannabes

Awhile back, Bravo had said they wanted to make a spinoff of Gossip Girl but with an added twist since the show had become so popular. Do kids like this in the upper east side really exist? Uh of course they do and Bravo is out to prove it with their new show NYC Prep. (I already hate the name) So this is that cast, and I feel like I can already pick out the look-a-likes of the CW version. Reality show reality showwww. We all know it’s going to be fake and we’re gonna love hating it but no matter what this show will never be Gossip Girl. There will never be another Blair, Little J, or a voice over gossip girl played by Kristen Bell.

ps these kids look like aliens to me. Something about this just screams fake!

My baby Blair is a singer

Everyone knows I love Gossip Girl. But no one is better than Blair Waldorf played by one of my favorite style icons Leighton Meester. Leighton has expressed before that she had wanted to get into singer and back then I had my doubts, I just didn’t see it. Today, indie band Awesome New Republic released a second version of their song in which Leighton sings the main vocals. I’m impressed. Not only is Awesome New Republic a band that I would listen to but Leighton is wonderfully refreshing. I’ve been listening to the song since I discovered the news! Now …  we’re all just waiting to hear from Pretty Little J’s band.

There’s no way for me to post the link on here to her music but my suggestion is to go to Playlist.com and type in Awesome New Republic – Birthday. That should do the trick!

Lorick

Lorick debuted one of my favorite collections of all time for Spring 09 rtw. The presentation was a party. Literally. With many many beautiful decorated cakes and the models donned cocktail party dresses. It took place in a tiny kitchen and it got a little messy but it was fun. According to my source Fashionista, there was a somber sounding accordian player. Abigail Lorick also happens to be the actual designer behind Blair Waldorf’s mother line in Gossip Girl as well.
