Seattle-based business, Cupcake Royale, will be hosting a cupcake decorating event every Monday from 3-5PM. The event will start this Monday and all you have to do is “provide the creativity!” Cupcakes and frosting are provided by your local shop for $3.50, which will get you a freshly-baked cupcake, frosting and sprinkles. Come join the fun at my favorite cupcake shop in Seattle!

Seattle music venue, Columbia City Theater, is throwing a free concert tonight featuring two local bands The Bad Things and Titanium Sporkestra. Dearest Dom and I took a trip down to Cupcake Royale today for a snack break! She picked up a Lavender cupcake and I snagged the Red Velvet and the new Bacon Whiskey Maple w/ real bacon bits for a late night snack. The window decals caught our attention on our way out – cupcakes barfing rainbows. Who would’ve thought that a sight like this would be so stinkin’ cute!

Tomorrow from 4-6 PM, Cupcake Royale will be having a free Deathcake tasting at their Capitol Hill location. The Deathcake is the shops “Cupcake of the Month” and it is supposedly the best chocolate cake in town right now. The savory dessert is made of Theo Chocolate and Stumptown espresso ganache.

Lady Gaga will be here TONIGHT. I’m sure the show will be a life-changing event for fans. However, the organizers have sent out a press release regarding costumes. You are welcome to dress up, but you must not have anything that looks like a weapon even if it is part of the costume. If you would like to use aluminum cans, they must be empty. If you thought Capitol Hill couldn’t get any sweeter, you were wrong. Dani Cone, who runs the Fuel Coffee shops, has decided to open up a High 5 Pie on 12th Ave in the retail space below the Trace Lofts. You’ll never have a hard time choosing dessert now that you have High 5 Pie, Molly Moon’s, Old School, and Cupcake Royale nearby. The pie shop will also serve Fuel Coffee and ice cream so that you can have your pie a la mode.
The lovely pie shop should be open around New Year’s just in time for the peak of winter!
This summer’s Cake Britain Tour was brought to you by The Mad Artists Tea Party. In an effort to encourage both parents and children to bake, they decided to create a fun event by sneaking cupcakes into trees for you to find and keep. The event was incredibly successful and um… makes me wish we had something like this in Seattle. I would probably climb trees for my Cupcake Royale red velvet cupcakes.
