I really really enjoy listening to this band. I actually saw them two months ago when they opened for Danger and Plain White T’s and I still have their EP sitting on my desk waiting to be put on my ipod.. they’re great.
Also! I took pictures from Talib’s set last night at Quadstock so I’ll be editing them sometime tomorrow or so.

It’s the month of music and festivals
Sasquatch. Folk Life. Seattle University’s Quadstock. University of Washington’s free concert on the HUB are all occurring in the month of May.
Seattle’s summer music festivals Capital Hill Block Party and Bumbershoot are releasing more of their lineup during this time.
Therefore, I give you this new header for May.

Goodbye From Aphony
Tonight, Ally informed me that From Aphony was breaking up. These guys were always so sweet to me whenever I ran their shows. I’m sad to hear that they have reached the end of the road because when I was fifteen I loved going to their shows! They always opened for This Providence or Danger Radio etc others bands I was seeing but I still remember the massive crush I had on Jake Weholt and how all the girls were in love with THE “Keef West.”
Anyways, I have no idea how their doing now but I wish all of the guys in the band the best of luck and if anyone is in around in Kirkland that night, you should go see them at the Kirkland Teen Center.

Earlier this week, I ran into my friend Marcus (who I would later find out goes by his stage name as well: Marcus D.) who reminds me of Elan Wright from Danger Radio. I promised Gelesia Boo that I would send her a picture so I snapped one on my phone but then he and I got to talking and I learned that he was actually a music produceer and a very talented one at that

He’s produced for Seattle’s very own Blue Scholars and worked with many underground hip hop artists within the area. He’s really starting to build his experience up, the more artists he works with, the more he’ll understand the production process. Hopefully, more and more artists will want to work with him, and his career will take off soon.

Danger’s biggest fan?
Clearly Chet right? No. But seriously. Highlights from tonight’s episode featuring DANGER RADIO
– Did anyone count how many times Chet said, “I love Danger Radio. These guys are so cool.” (He is my favorite!)
– I lul’ed when Chet was introducing himself to all the band and then proceeded to say, “oh I already know your names.”
– MTV played “Alive For the First Time” during a transition. I liked it.
– I’m sure Danger will be getting lots of attention after this
– Ryan should not have played that song for them
– I giggled when Elan was getting really into it
– You got one thing right Chet! Those Danger Radio boys do know how to put on a show
– Wait a second, was that really Danger Radio hanging out in the Real World house?

Danger Radio + Real World Brooklyn =
Does anyone else find this funny also?! Those are my danger babies with the two characters from Real World. I was just doing my daily read of Ohnotheydidnt last night when I came across a Real World Brooklyn personal pictures post. Expecting to see a whole bunch of partying pictorials (And I did) I then saw Andrew’s FACE and did a double take. Hmmm are kids from Real World just catching a Danger: Radio show? There was also a somewhat hilar caption underneath this picture as well on the site…
“this looks like an annoying hipster band with chet and ryan but idk who these people would be (eta apparently they are called Danger Radio and are really nice and allegedly aren’t really hipster but whatever i’m skeptical)”
These guys are anything BUT hipster kthanx.
ALSO Danger Radio will be having a show with The Scene Aesthetic and three other bands I don’t know in Seattle at El Corazon on Jan 27 at 7:30.
