Yow Yow’s Yearly Recap

Since tomorrow is New Year’s Eve, I will not be posting very much if I end up posting at all. This blog is about to turn two years old already! I can’t believe it. Well, a lot has changed since then so I thought I would share some of the changed stats from Dec 2009 to Dec 2010. Thanks for sticking around!

Rockin’ Romance 2

Local record label, Destiny Worldwide, recently informed me that they were releasing their new album Rockin’ Romance 2 – a compilation of your favorite love songs with an alternative twist. I had never heard the first Rockin’ Romance album, so the people over at Destiny Worldwide were so kind and sent me over a copy! Some of my favorite love songs made the cut including “She Will Be Loved,” originally by Maroon 5,With You” by Jessica Simpson and “1000 Miles” by Vanessa Carlton just to name a few. Who are some of the special bands performing these covers? My friends of The Scene Aesthetic, The Real You, Daphne Loves Derby, and New Heights – all of Seattle’s finest!

This year’s even bigger and better track listing is sure to bring you right back to those middle school dances and the jams that rocked the gymnasium.

More information will be released in the coming weeks including exclusive content, contests, never before seen video
footage, and more! Additionally, Destiny Worldwide are holding a GIGANTIC On-line SALE. Everything must go.
$2 T-Shirts, $5 hoodies, $5 CD’s and DVD’s. Every order will be jammed with loot. Grab a copy of the original
Rockin’ Romance for only $5. Visit Destiny-worldwide.com now for more information!

Out on the Town: 12/20

Come to the Destiny Worldwide office in Kirkland tomorrow for their Christmas party! Andrew de Torres, singer in two of Seattle’s prominent bands to the music scene, Danger Radio and The Scene Aesthetic may give us a special treat with music he has been working on for his solo project. Who knows?!

Also Letter & Lights, who are also from the Seattle area, will be performing as well!

Plus, how can you pass up marked-down merch? You can’t!
