Diane Kruger in Prabal Gurung
After the Met Ball, this might be the second best dressed night during the year.
Anna Wintour in Chanel – she hosted the whole thang so she had to be first.
It killed me that I couldn’t post every look and have this ready to go for you all this morning! I was so excited to see some of the looks from the Met Gala yesterday evening and then a part of me knew that I would hate some looks as well. With the theme being, “China: Through the Looking Glass,” I was concerned that there would be jabs poked at stereotypes and Asian trends that would make me cringe. Of course there were, but like all things, we have to move on and not dwell on them. In the interest of saving time (and space!) I am choosing not to include looks that I felt were in poor taste.
It seems like Brittany Hampton was just announced as DVF’s newest brand ambassador yesterday, but already, it looks like the fashion designer is on her way to find her second brand ambassador and hosting the second season of her show on E! once again. Initially, I didn’t think that I would enjoy this reality show as much as I would, but from the very first episode I was hooked. I think it was impossible for me to miss an episode of it every Sunday so I always had to make sure I was home to catch it. What I loved the most? That the audience gets an inside look at what it’s really like to be in the fashion industry and that these girls aren’t perfect. In fact, there’s something wrong with all of them as they all have flaws and that there isn’t a clear winner. Diane surprised me the most! You never know who she’s going to send home and how she’s going to send them home including inviting a girl into her car with her and telling her the bad news while Diane herself, is on her way to another event. Ruthless. I’ve since followed Brittany on Instagram just to get a glimpse of what she’s been up to her in her job and already she’s been busy at work styling, making appearances, and traveling to DVF store locations across the country.
Sounds like the gig is just as awesome as it sounds! Andddd we’re jealous.

Who: Jamie Chung
Wearing: Diane von Furstenberg
Where: Big Hero 6 movie premiere
Readers – since Sunday, I have been working on an “I Like Your Style…” post featuring Jamie Chung and I finally finished it yesterday evening. However since I didn’t save the draft as I went and tried to publish it yesterday, WordPress completely deleted the whole thing. These posts usually take me the longest to do because it requires going back to all of their events and appearances and picking out my favorite looks and finding out who exactly they were wearing. Though I was bummed, I knew I didn’t want to try doing it over again even on my day off as I’d like to spend time on different posts for Yow Yow today. So compromise – this post. Jamie Chung was my favorite Real Worlder of all time and she’s like me – a young Asian American woman – so I’m completely behind her!
She has her own blog as well where she details some of her outfits and many of them we love and would’ve been featured in the post that got deleted. You can check it out here!
Omg. Kendall Jenner – amazing!
Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen
The CFDA awards highlights the best of the best in the fashion industry annually. This year, celebrities and the most notable players in the fashion world came out for one of the best dressed events of the year. We’re highlighting our favorite looks below and the winners below that.
I can’t believe it’s time already for the most fashionable night of the year! It’s crazy to think that a year has already gone by. I feel like I was making the 2013 post just last month. This year’s theme is White Tie and Decorations.
Of course we’re kicking things off with Queen Bey and Jay.
Beyonce and Jay-Z both in Givenchy Haute Couture
It’s the biggest night in fashion of the year and for the past four years, we have been covering the annual Met Gala. This year’s theme was Punk: Chaos to Couture and the celebrities did it well. Here – Dakota Fanning looks phenomenal in Rodarte.
