Diesel is known for their racy ads – that should be obvious by now. When I heard word that they were involved in a little scandal themselves, I wasn’t all that surprised. Officials from the Brooklyn Law School recently allowed Diesel to shoot their new advertising campaign on their campus within their school’s library for what they believed would be a “tasteful photo shoot.” Boy, were they wrong. Diesel ads are far from tasteful to begin with. For this very special education shoot, the brand hired 17-year-old photographer Nirrimi Hakason to shoot the batch of scandalous photos and when they surfaced – the Brooklyn Law School was none too happy.
The above photo was the least scandalous of them all. The rest of the shots feature models in only their skivvies gettin’ down in the middle of bookshelves and underneath library tables. Basically, they are living out every college student’s fantasy and they aren’t holding back one bit.
Sure, students and faculty at the law school may be offended, but these photographs are FANTASTIC. Can we just get back to the fact that a 17-year-old girl shot this? Whether or not Diesel saw this scandal coming their way, they are definitely receiving a lot of attention. Any publicity at all is good publicity right?
