I’ve probably been watching all of Mariah Carey’s performances of Vision of Love/Infinity all week. This is the 3rd time at least! And it is still so so good. It’s a pretty good girl anthem by the way (if you’ve been looking!) We haven’t plugged any for awhile until now.

So it has been three months since my last “A Collection” post…These are my favorite posts and while they take forever to make, I honestly believe that the more time that goes by, the better these posts turn out to be. I made a promise to Veronica that I would have finished it three weeks ago and here it is. Better late than never.
This collection was created with the theme of being selfless. I never make up these themes beforehand. It is only when I can look through it as a whole that I begin to notice these patterns that arise out of the photographs. I am talking about the Japan Relief and TOMS’ One Day Without Shoes. Sometimes, giving back feels so much larger than us that we are overwhelmed by it, but there are much smaller ways to contribute. You can give back to the people you already know in even the simplest ways.
My only experience with anything 3D was Honey, I Shrunk the Kids at Disney Land. Back then, 3D was all the rage and now it’s making a comeback with Piranha 3D – a movie that I will not be seeing. Are 3D movies living up to their hype though? I really want to know. I don’t feel like wearing goofy flimsy “glasses” in a movie theater even if everyone else is wearing it.
I’m not a fan because they make me dizzy and I have absolutely no problem watching a movie in just 2D without 3D at all.
So…what happens when a movie comes out on DVD? Are you supposed to have your handy dandy 3D glasses at home w/ you?
Currently, the price for one day ticket at Disney Land is $72. That’s…a whole lot of money that I definitely don’t want to spend. Maybe Disney Land is finally recognizing that people just don’t have that kind of paper to throw around anymore so they are offering a new deal for people.
