2015 Emmy Awards Red Carpet

The Emmy Awards started a half hour before the Seahawks Vs. Packers game so I only got to see 30 minutes of the show, but from what I saw of Andy Samberg’s intro – I probably didn’t miss that much. I did, however, peep the red carpet and tonight’s celebrities, winners, and presenters did not disappoint. This evening produced a lot of great looks that I’m excited to share! Normally, I would not be impressed by this dress if I saw it on the runway, but Kerry Washington is stunning in it.

Emma Roberts x Aerie

Emma Roberts got in front of the cameras for Aerie recently and the pictures that came out of this campaign look stunning. Not only are they gorgeous (and she is too!) but they are also untouched which is something we can always appreciate. The young actress who has been promoting her new television series “Scream Queens” also held an intimate dinner last week to celebrate the campaign in Los Angeles.

The minimalistic pieces all in neutral hues – it is my dream closet. The Weekend: 5 Things

Anyone that knows me knows that I rarely do anything on a week night. I was somehow convinced this past Thursday to see The Grand Budapest Hotel at Kabuki in Japantown for a 9:55 PM showtime and I didn’t hate it.  Since  I loved Moonrise Kingdom so much, I was pretty sure that I was going to enjoy this Wes Anderson film as well. I did, however, fall asleep for maybe 10 minutes, but other than that the move was great!

During brunch, you’ll almost always see me ordering an omelette or a scramble. Yesterday, I had a huge craving for something sweet at brunch at Country Way in Fremont and couldn’t say no to the Strawberry French Toast. How do people eat this much food?!

Adult World

If I’m not mistaken, I think this is the film where Emma Roberts and Evan Peters first met on the set, but I could be wrong. After watching Emma portray this darker character on American Horror Story, it’s a little bit difficult to believe her as the flighty manic pixie dream girl in Adult World. I’m not really sure if it’s convincing or even interesting watching a struggling poet work in an adult bookstore. I suppose I just had higher expectations for the film especially when I first heard about it, but I don’t feel the same way anymore.
