The red carpet is something that I always look forward to around award show season, but second in line to that is definitely the after party. Most celebrities have a second dress for the event and needless to say, we’re always interested in seeing second looks that aren’t as tame as the first one. Plus, we get to see a whole lot of celebrities that only get invited to the after party and not the award show itself. Sad day for them.

Happy Monday readers! Yesterday brought out some of the best in red carpet wear and along with that…some of the worse. We’re kicking off this red carpet post, however, with the best hosts this show has ever seen. Luckily for us, we get them for another year!
This is a pretty healthy mix that I am happy with. This is probably one of my favorite posts to compile every year because I am always so interested in seeing what readers are drawn to the most. I’m not able to get a whole lot of stats from WordPress or the stats that I mainly need, but I’m so thrilled to know that two of our interview posts were a top read this year. Working with both Hollis and Molly was such a treat!

I will admit I had my doubts about this film. In my eyes, I thought that nothing could compare to the television movie version that aired on ABC on a yearly basis while I was growing up. It actually was a pretty horrendous version, but it was all I had at the time. The trailer for this film seems very intense and when you’ve got big names like Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Darren Aronofsky, and Emma Watson in it, then you just know it’s going to be good. I’d also like to mention that Emma Watson and Logan Lerman are cast in this film – hello Perks of Being a Wallflower reunion.
Stunning! Emma’s style transformation over the years has blossomed. It’s very rare if at all that we see her on any worst-dressed list.

It’s weird for me to say that I’ve grown up with Emma Watson as an actress, but I have and so have many other people. Her breakout role was as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series and since then she has pretty much proven herself as an actress and as an awesome human being. I watched this video of her yesterday for W Magazine and was impressed by her character. Not only is she very talented, but she is also very smart. I have a great deal of respect for her as an actress and am excited to see how far her career takes her.

Since 2010, Nina has been on my radar as the one to watch. And now, not only is she on a hit CW television series – Vampire Diaries – she is also making the lists for being a best dressed celebrity. Newly single and with the world ahead of her and her blossoming career, I am excited to see how far she’ll push the boundaries with her red carpet looks.
Has anyone had a chance to catch Emma in The Bling Ring yet? It’s funny to think that she’s playing a character molded off of Alexis Neires, but I heard she does a fairly good job at it. I am loving these photographs of her in Teen Vogue as the most recent cover girl.
