Met Gala 2011

There was an unbelievable amount of love for Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney at this year’s 2011 Met Ball. I think out of all the Met Ball’s I have seen, this one has provided the most looks that I have fallen in love with. Well done everyone.

This year’s theme was in tribute to the late designer Alexander McQueen as the museum debuted a new exhibition in his name. Since there were so many attendees this year, I decided to post only my favorite looks (and a few others)  – don’t worry, it’s still pretty image heavy!

– Chris Brown exploded in a rage in his dressing room after appearing on Good morning America this morning. It was speculated that his actions were triggered when asked about the Rihanna incident. However, Chris Brown was fully aware of which questions would be asked beforehand as he gave approval. Chris Brown allegedly used a chair to smash the window of his dressing room. He is still on probation and this will most likely be in violation of that. [Source] Oh hai, how are those anger management classes treating you? oh and [Source]

– Michael Lohan was arrested on domestic violence charges today with the bail being set to $200,000. [Source]

– I was so disappointed when I heard that MTV had given Lauren Conrad’s new show the boot especially because it was supposed to be shot like a documentary and be beautifully artistic. While we may never see the show, we do have a chance to see the opening sequence that could have been done by Angela and Ithyle who are also the duo behind those Kindle ads! – Nicole Richie and Joel Madden got married this past weekend! No pictures have been released yet, but Nicole did wear 3 gowns – one being a Marchesa custom-made wedding gown for the walk down the aisle. Also, there was an elephant present. Not an elephant in the room, but an actual elephant stomping all over Lionel Richie’s estate where the wedding was held. Paris Hilton was not invited.

Baby Glees

Last month, I wrote a post about how Glee wanted to incorporate younger versions of the characters in an upcoming episode. That time has arrived! Watch the video for extreme cuteness!
