Old Disney vs New Disney

Welcome to the world of Miley Cyrus, Wizards of Waverly Place, and High School Musical. Don’t get me wrong, I actually don’t mind watching them every once in a while and I’m not ashamed to admit it. When I was younger though, the Disney Channel meant so much more to me. They were more than just a television channel, their website was a kid’s playground. Now that I’ve typed that, I’ve realized how corny that sounded. Anyways, I bumped into two Disney Channel “Express Yourself” videos tonight. One is from 2010 with the new stars and the other is from…the old times, the good times.

I’m gonna go ahead and predict the favorite of the two.

I wish they would bring back Even Stevens and The Famous Life of Jett Jackson. I miss you Zoog Disney.

Megan Fox spits only the best

Megan Fox has no censor whatsoever. Why is this? I think it’s because she thinks she is hot shit so she’s allowed to say things like this, but really she’d be doing herself a favor if she just kept her lips sealed.

The Fashion Spot has compiled a list of quotes that have come directly from Megan Fox regarding sexuality, men, Hollywood, and things that make us just go “wtf?!”

Here are some of my favorites:

On men,

“I’m not going to be married – I’m not the marrying type. I know people will say, ‘Why are you engaged if you’re not the marrying type?’ I am impulsive and I love my boyfriend, but I have no plans of getting married any time soon.” Extra, April 2009

On High School Musical,

“Well let me tell you what [High School Musical] is really about. High School Musical is about this group of boys who are all being molested by the basketball coach, who is Zac Efron’s dad. It’s about them struggling to cope with this molestation. And they have these little girlfriends, who are their beards. Oh, and somehow there’s music involved. You have to get stoned to watch it.” – Esquire, June 2009

On sexuality,

“Well, I’m clearly not ugly.” – Entertainment Weekly, June 2009

Baby V

I used to adore Vanessa Hudgens‘ character in High School Musical way back when she was innocent and before her scandalous pictures came out. I don’t want to say that those were planned, but that actually could have happened. Ever since they were released she has turned into that sassy girl with the wild/crazy attitude and lost the innocent persona. Possible promotional stint? Who knows. Regardless, I’m adoring her new spread in UK In Style.
