Over time, keeping up with Wedding Mondays has become more and more challenging for several reasons. It takes some time to sift through the wedding blogs that I love to see if there are any videos featured in the posts from the previous week. Secondly, over time, my bar has gotten kind of high. The good thing is that hopefully we’re showcasing more wedding videos that you like or that are new to you and inspire you like they do for me. The hard part is that some weeks there aren’t any videos I want to feature. I’ve gotten to be okay with that over the years, but there’s a part of me that gets irritate when I can’t share something consistently every week.
All it took was a second. That first note in TRACE’s “Honey” and I was completely sucked in. Then came the desert shots and the personalized vows all set to the sounds of “Honey.” I was so glad that it wasn’t Walk the Moon or any other cliche wedding song because it just would have felt out of place. Hopefully, you’ll love this as much as I do!
Unfortunately, I can’t embed the video, but you can view it here and the rest of the feature on Green Wedding Shoes.

Happy Monday morning everyone! Catching up on wedding videos yesterday, I really only had less than a handful to watch. It seems like some of my favorite wedding blogs didn’t highlight very many last week, but luckily I had this one in my back pocket from two weeks ago. Today, we’re highlighting a desert wedding video from Samantha and Joe, who just happens to be a part of Fitz and the Tantrums! Mandi and I have been talking about this trend of desert weddings lately and while it sort of seems to be played out, I’m still actually very much in love with the idea! It wouldn’t necessarily be my first choice and deserts don’t have much of a personal value to me, but I do like how secluded it can be and how its still outdoors, but still very very pretty. Desert shots just look really good to me. I mean, just peep some of the photos I’ve included below!

This will be the first of many posts highlighting some of our trips from this year! I couldn’t wait to celebrate Mandi’s Bachelorette Party with her this past spring in beautiful Palm Springs! It was my first time there and it did not disappoint. It was everything I could’ve wanted in a weekend – sun, pool, drinks, and girl time. The weekend had a nice blend of activities and a little bit of something for everyone, but more importantly, everyone there just wanted to make sure that Mandi had the best last weekend before she was completely off the market forever.
