I’ve loved following Julien Macdonald’s collection for as long as I could remember. Never growing up with even an ounce of tom-boyishness in me, feminine looks have always felt more comfortable. Granted, I’d say Julien skews to the extreme end of feminine, but how fun is this collection? In a way, it walks a bit on the wild side. Most might believe they wouldn’t be able to pull off looks like these, but I think that’s the best part of it. Giving it a shot and if it doesn’t work out, you’ve learned a little bit more about your own personal style and what you can and can’t do.

2019 Oscars After Parties
Gabrielle Union in Valentino
If you thought the red carpet was the main event, think again! Coming up, you’ll find looks that are a little more daring. The slits are higher, hemlines shorter, and everyone that wasn’t invited to the actual event shows up for the party. These looks were designed for the after parties and it’s something to get excited about! Many of the nominees arrive to the after party events in a second look! Like every year, this year’s event was no exception and everyone looked grand.
Readers, any standout favorites for y’all?

Madelaine Petsch in Prada
I’m so old that I completely forgot that this was happening tonight and that the award show has changed its name to “MTV Movie and Television Awards.” We’re not sure when that happened, but we do appreciate the inclusivity for television series. Next up? All of our favorite looks and nothing about the award show itself because we’re not watching it this year.

CFDA/’VOGUE’ FASHION FUND SHOW IN LA
Zendaya wearing Teresa Helbig
It may be fall everywhere else in the world, but southern California is still experiencing 95 degree weather and yesterday’s outfit choices in LA for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Show prove it. The finalists from the competition showcased at Chateau Marmont in front of a panel of judges and in attendance for the event were some of our favorite celebrity icons and even those that are style icons in the making. Here are some of our favorite looks:
Grammys Red Carpet 2017
Rihanna in Armani Prive
This year, we missed both the Grammy awards and the red carpet. We’ve been on a pretty good streak so far with awards shows, but today I wanted to take the day off and instead, I went to go see “50 Shades Darker” with a couple of my girlfriends. At dinner later on, the show happened to be airing at the restaurant we were at so I caught a few glimpses, but we’re likely going to catch up on all the notable performances and speeches in the next day or two. As always, Grammy fashion is sometimes the award show that produces the most talked about outfits so with that, here are our favorites along with ones that we feel we have to highlight just because!

And just like that we’re in London! Okay – I mean we (personally) are not in London, but Fashion Week. Someday, we hope that could be us though!
Golden Globes 2016 After Parties
Selena Gomez in J. Mendel
I actually love this look by Selena. In previous years, she’s always opted for the very sexy look and always showing off a little bit more skin than she should. This is really understated though and very pretty. It looks effortless on her. Good look.

Something Rumi Neely would wear we think! Julien Macdonald reminds me of the updated Herve Leger except everyone still wants to be wearing Julien Macdonald.
