THIS Movie Trailer

Has some strong language. And when I say that, I mean, don’t watch it in the office or the classroom, k?

On another note, Ted stars Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, and one cuddly teddy bear with a sailor’s mouth!

DP/30

It isn’t difficult for me to just get sucked into an interview. They’re typically not very long, but I feel like for just a brief moment, celebrities are able to let down their walls and for once – we see them in a setting that doesn’t put them in acting mode. Above is an interview with the lovely and talented Chloe Moretz with DP/30 and below Mila Kunis.

Seriously cool girls – but this leads me into my next segment!

For some time now, I have been interested in bringing back interviews to Yow Yow! and now I’ve got a reason to. I am excited to announce that  Yow Yow! will be bringing back interviews to the blog in a new series featuring strong women making a difference and who are prominent across the web.

A Collection Part 30

A Softer World

Happy spring readers! We’re long overdue for a Collection post so I thought I would leave you with one before I embark on the rest of my spring break venturing for the week. It’s definitely shorter than usual, but still packed with pretty pictures. I wanted to kick off this collection post with a comic from one of my favorite sites, A Softer World. Together, they are the perfect combination of beautiful photography and witty thoughts.

Enjoy!

Food For Thought

Before Peter Gallagher become Sandy Cohen, he was a ballet choreographer and director.

Every so often, I like to imagine some of my favorite actors and actresses continuing their character’s lives with every film.

For example:

Mila Kunis (as Jackie Burkhart) was a flighty, outgoing, teenager of the 70’s in That 70’s show. Disregarding the years in difference, she went on to move away from her old life and friends in search for something new in Hawaii where she became a hotel concierge. After leaving the islands for the first time in years to go visit Petter Bretter for the debut of his odd musical puppet show about a vampires, she decided to stay in the states. Being a ballet dancer was her next passion – that was until Nina Sayers went all psychotic on her and she realized that it was probably a better idea to bow out gracefully. On to the next career! That isn’t so strange for someone her age because apparently people will go through an average of three different career paths in their lives. After giving up dancing, she became an executive recruiter while still living in New York City. There she met Justin Timberlake and although they may have started out as friends and then friends with benefits, everything worked out for them in the end. Together, they participate in flash mobs monthly or Improv Everywhere events.

It’s fun to have an imagination sometimes, isn’t it?

Mila Kunis for Dior

It looks like Mila and her former Black Swan co-star Natalie Portman have another similar project in common. They’ve both been tapped to work with Dior as brand ambassadors. Here are some of Mila’s new spring campaigns shot by photographer Mikail Jansson. The advertisements will be featured in the pages of magazines as early as January 15th first internationally and then in American fashion magazines like Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue.
