The Other Woman

Natalie Portman is the actress that everyone is talking about at the end of 2010 for her performance in Black Swan. Next year, she brings us No Strings Attached and The Other Woman – a film reminiscent to Stepmom. Is this the beginning of her downfall? She may be adding more films to her resume in a short period of time, but a rom-com and a film without an original plot line won’t be able to compare to Black Swan. Regardless, I kind of liked watching the trailer above, but for some reason, I have a hard time picturing Natalie as a mom like my reaction to her in Brothers last year.

No Strings Attached

It is a battle for two new romantic comedies about …friends w/ benefits. I have no idea why these types of movies and shows are coming up now, I mean this kind of…behavior has been around for sometime.

So what movie are we going to watch?

Friends With Benefits with Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis or No Strings Attached with Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman.

Can we take a second to compare the similarities?

– Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman are about to release these two new movies, which are very similar. They also starred in Black Swan where they portrayed beautiful Rodarte-wearing ballerinas involved in lesbian relations with each other.

– Justin Timberlake is funny. Ashton Kutcher is funny.

– The movies have the exact same plot/synopsis.

– Yes, that is Ludacris in the movie. Couldn’t tell you why.

I’d also like to point out that Natalie Portman doesn’t typically act in romantic comedies. This is a little bit of a treat for us.
