Passion Pit – Where the Sky Hangs
Madeon ft. Passion Pit – Pay No Mind
Passion Pit @ Bumbershoot from KEXP’s sessions!
Check out all the songs here – but this one’s my favorite. And of course it is “Take A Walk!”
Passion Pit – Constant Conversations
When I first heard this song on We Are Hunted, I listened to it on loop for the entire day. Do you know how many times that is possible? Too many. And I never got sick of it. The new Passion Pit album is fantastic and I cannot wait to see them at this year’s Bumbershoot (maybe even twice!) I’m excited to see them because this will be the first time, but also because I know that lead singer Michael Angelakos has been going through a tough time right now battling his bi-polar disorder and cancelling several shows to regain his strength again. Yow Yow! wishes him a speedy recovery!

Can’t wait until July 24th to hear Passion Pit’s new album “Gossamer?” Neither can the rest of the world.
NPR has the made entire album available for stream as a first listen preview here.
Apparently, I missed a secret show with Passion Pit this evening in Seattle. Maybe I should have rsvp’ed to this email seven days ago when I received it…
Passion Pit – Take A Walk
It has been too long since the group has had a new album out and I cannot wait for “Gossamer” to be released July 24, 2012.
Here is the first single “Take A Walk” from the upcoming album and it’s great – as expected. Can’t wait to see them at this year’s Bumbershoot!
Run Toto Run – Sleephead (Passion Pit Cover)
Subpop Records in Seattle recently signed Mister Heavenly, a band that apparently no one has ever heard of. I didn’t have much time to research them when the news hit yesterday, but this new blog post from The Stranger’s Line Out definitely got my attention.
Earlier this evening, Mister Heavenly opened for Passion Pit at the Moore Theater and will continue touring with the band for the next ten days. The band is made up of Nick Diamonds, (Islands/Unicorns) Honus Honus, (Man Man) and Joe Plummer (Modest Mouse). Cut to tonight’s performance, the audience found Mr. Dreamboat Michael Cera playing bass on stage!
First of all, can we just take a second to appreciate the names of the band members. If I were unfamiliar with them at all, I would’ve thought that the band was going to be a big secret featuring all-star players. In a way, it kind of is. MICHAEL CERA. I can’t get over it, sorry.
