André Leon Talley Exits ANTM; Kelly Cutrone Enters

After four years of being a judge on America’s Next Top Model alongside Tyra Banks, we have learned yesterday that André Leon Talley will be leaving the show at the end of the season. His replacement? None other than HBIC PR Head Kelly Cutrone. I know I throw around the term “HBIC” pretty often, but I really mean it this time. Cutrone is known in the fashion business industry for her public relations company People’s Revolution, but on television, is known for being the cutthroat boss to both Whitney Port and Lauren Conrad on The Hills/City. Who could ever forget the moment when Kelly interviews Stephanie Pratt for a position at the PR firm?

Well, I did so here it is again.

I don’t normally watch this show, but Cutrone is one of my idol’s so I might have to make an exception.

Kell on Earth

Lauren got her own show. For five years. Whitney got her own show. Kelly Cutrone will now have her very own show on Bravo.

The synopsis goes a little something like this:

Kelly Cutrone has been called one of the “coolest, scariest and New York-iest people ever” and, judging from her frank demeanor and fashion world credibility, it’s easy to see why. Bravo takes a no-holds-barred look into the life of one of America’s most legitimate tastemakers as she balances running her wildly successful fashion PR company, People’s Revolution, with being a single mother and one of New York’s most notable women about town.

I’m not even gonna deny it. I know I’m going to watch this show. Kelly Cutrone’s my girl, she’s in my field of interest. I would love to see how one does it, runs a successful pr company AND is a single mom. She’s cut throat Cutrone but that’s why people love her right?

You’re killing me Pratt

“My final objective in life is to have a handbag line.” —Stephanie Pratt to Kelly Cutrone, on The Hills.

Oh ry ry?! I would be ever so grateful if I could get an interview with Kelly someday in my life. I would never want to cross her nor make her laugh at me. Stephanie you don’t belong at People’s Revolution. You were lucky Lauren was able to pull some strings for you but you need to go somewhere else. Doesn’t Kimora Lee Simmons have a handbag line also? I think she’s more your style. You clearly don’t know where you’re interviewing for. Obviously last night’s episode was a lesson in how NOT to act in an interview.

“I’m so nervous right now I’m sorry!”

Annemarie and I lol’ed throughout the painful ordeal.
