Harper’s Bazaar Holiday Themed Spread

In addition to having a real job that I can call my own post grad, I am also looking forward to next year’s holiday parties! (I mean – we’re crossing our fingers that I’ll have a job post grad.) I’ll finally have a place to wear the holiday dresses that are collecting dust up in my closet. This holiday spread for Harper’s Bazaar is short and sweet, but they sure do make these parties seem like fun, don’t they?

The spread features Santigold, Lykke Li, Sky Ferreira, Charlotte Gainsbourg and more.

And this is how it’s done

This video was taken during Washington’s Sasquatch Festival this past Memorial Day Weekend.

My only question: Why didn’t this happen sooner?

I’ve never been to Sasquatch before but I know the setup. If I had gone, I probably would’ve been trying to get down on the floor but if you’re on the hill, like what does that do for you? How much fun could you be having by sitting on that hill watching/listening to the live show from the farthest away you could get?

I applaud this young man for creating such a powerful movement. Wish I could have been there.

The “o” makes a huge difference

If you haven’t heard, we can no longer call SantogoldSantogold. She has spontaneously decided to drop the “o” and replace it with an “i.” I don’t know about you but Santigold doesn’t roll off the tongue as well. It’s quite the adjustment.

What an amazing lineup. I think I like it even more than Coachella’s. Nothing beats Snoop, GIRL TALK ( I will always love)  Andrew Bird, MGMT, Of Montreal, Jenny Lewis, Santogold, The Ting Tings and Portugal. The Man. All in one place.
