We don’t know what all this drama is about with her and Orlando Bloom, but it just sounds so juicy! But actually her shoot for Marie Claire is fabulous and we couldn’t not share. All of these pieces are amazing and she looks great. Whatever this drama is that she has with Orlando, we’re just happy to see her making a comeback and ditching the Biebs (hopefully for good this time!)

This is always one of our favorite events of the year and all today, I wanted to just continue refreshing Fashionista so that I could see the live coverage of all of the outfits. Instead, we worked. And every 45 minutes, we ended up refreshing, but then the days get ahead of us so now we’re playing catch up now. Here’s what we did see – we didn’t like Taylor’s outfit. Not one bit. We hated Selena’s boots. We weren’t surprised by Nicki Minaj and we loved Chloe Moretz and Bee Shaffer, but what else is new?! Now, let’s get to the coverage – it’s pretty much the post we’ve been waiting for all year long. This year’s theme was Manus x Machina. This also kind of hits home for us because well… you know, tech!

This is my favorite because The Oscars red carpet tends to be very grand and conservative, but the after party is when things start to get a little bit sexier and you know all the stars that weren’t invited to the actual award show get to come out so that’s nice for them.
We HAD to kick this post off with Brie. Honestly, how could we not? Also, oh my goodness – is she wearing pink velvet? She not only was the best dressed of the night, but clearly the most comfortable the rest of the night. We just want to be friends with her.
Selena Gomez in Calvin Klein
The red carpet for me this year was just so-so. There wasn’t anything that I absolutely loved or hated, maybe in the end I just prefer things like the Golden Globes or The Oscars. Usually, the first look that I share is something that I really like. This time, though I give this look a 6/10. The sparkly blue is nice and sure the cut-outs are edgy, but it’s really not anything we haven’t seen before. Also her old school hair is just meh to me.

I actually love this look by Selena. In previous years, she’s always opted for the very sexy look and always showing off a little bit more skin than she should. This is really understated though and very pretty. It looks effortless on her. Good look.
We’re not as excited about her album as we are about Justin Bieber’s, but this spread ain’t bad! It’s okay, they’re both bouncing back from their breakups in very different ways and it works!
Since the entire fashion show is such a huge televised production, the actual show is filmed almost a month early before it actually airs on CBS. There’s a whole lot to be excited about revolving the show including our favorite Lily Aldridge in the Fantasy Bra, performances by Ellie Goulding, Selena Gomez, and The Weeknd, and Kendall and Gigi’s debut on the VS runway. I didn’t really have high hopes for Selena’s album. I liked “Good For You,” but I hated “Same Old Love.” Ugh. However, I wanted to give it a chance so I listened through the Deluxe album last night and found that I only really love “Revival.” However, the last two songs on this album (which aren’t included on the regular album – “Nobody” and “Perfect”) are pretty good as well. Why didn’t these make the cut? I don’t understand. Anyways, I’ve been listening to Revival all day and actually think that some good choreography could probably be paired with it. It will be interesting to see how well her upcoming tour goes. I’m really enjoying watching her whisper through her “Good For You” performances lately.
So it looks like this is happening today. Apparently Gigi Hadid was the matchmaker in all of this and we’re not totally opposed to it because we really like Kendall Jenner. A part of me does feel very sad for Olivia Culpo though. And then there was a part of me that hoped Nick Jonas would just get back together with Selena Gomez. Oh the conflictions…
