Seth Rogan Helps A Vanity Fair Producer Use Tinder

I don’t normally feel this way about Mondays, but today I really needed a laugh. I couldn’t wait to get home this evening, kick up my feet, and for a few hours just try not to think about work. I remembered seeing this video over the weekend and I honestly wasn’t going to watch it because I imagined that it wouldn’t be that funny. However, given the day I had, I was willing to give it a second chance and I’m glad I did because it actually is pretty funny. Seth doesn’t use Tinder I don’t think, but he has a lot of the same thoughts that my friends and I have about dating apps and sometimes it’s funny when you can relate to someone that you didn’t think you would. Or… you’re just Seth Rogan and you’re funny anyways and you have the worst laugh.

50/50

While there are a few films I am excited to see this summer (the last Harry Potter, the Art of Getting By, Bad Teacher, Friends With Benefits, and Crazy Stupid Love.) I think that I am most excited for 50/50. Technically the movie comes out September 30th, which is late summer, but still sure to be a hit at the box office.

Directed by Jonathan Levine, the story centers on Adam (Gordon-Levitt), a young man living a great life. He has a job that he’s passionate about, works with his best friend (Rogen) and has a stunningly beautiful girlfriend (Howard). Then he goes to the doctor and finds out that he has a rare for of spinal cancer that has left him with a 50% chance of survival. This world totally rocked by the news, not only does he have to deal with the effects of his disease, but also how it affects everyone in his life.
