Anna Wintour to Stay at Vogue ‘Indefinitely’

Looks like we can finally put to bed the rumors of Anna Wintour leaving ‘Vogue!’ That’s great for us because honestly, did anyone actually want her to leave? As these rumors have been popping up, I imagine that exact same scene that occurred in “The Devil Wears Prada” where Meryl Streep tells Anne about all the people that would leave with her if she were “out at Runway.” Many thought that this upcoming September issue would be Anna’s last, but the rumors have officially been squashed as of this week.

CEO Bob Sauerberg took to the Conde Nast Twitter account yesterday to clear the air:

Cerulean

Turtleneck + Cardigan – Aritzia / Denim – Urban Outfitters

Every time I hear the word cerulean, I think of that infamous scene from The Devil Wears Prada where Miranda rips Andy a new one for calling two belts similar. It’s one of my favorite scenes from the film. I’m in this camp that I sometimes believe that you can make a photo out of anything – any wall, any backdrop, etc. But sometimes, I feel so compelled to some walls more than others. I love bold colors, prints, and things that you may not come across often. While I was in Seattle for the holidays, Veronica and I grabbed chili for lunch in Ballard – apparently at one of the oldest places ever known for its famous chili. Across the street was this cerulean wall and as soon as I saw it, I knew that THIS WAS IT. I didn’t bring a lot of clothes home with me when I returned for the holidays so this was pretty much my uniform every day.
