B H L D N

Last month, I mentioned that the URBN family would be debuting their new wedding collection B H L D N on Valentine’s Day and after finally having the time to take a look at it, I am blown away by the beautiful and classic styles that URBN has created. I’m still unsure of how to pronounce their new line, but that’s okay because I’m fine with just calling it URBN’s wedding collection. A few of my friends have been asking me lately if my interests shift towards weddings is because I have news to share myself. The answer is no! I’ve been covering weddings on Yow Yow! since last spring and it’s purely because I just love them so much. I don’t want to offend anyone, but I just know that for myself,  I’m definitely not trying to pull a Topanga.

With that said, let’s talk about B H L D N! One friend told me that she thought that some of the pieces might be over priced and she might be right. I have no idea how much any aspect of a wedding costs so for now I’m just going to let myself live in this dream world of wanting everything!

I literally want everything from this collection. The dresses are gorgeous! If browsing the shop is a little overwhelming for you and you need pieces narrowed down, then you can take the “What Kind of Bride Are You?” quiz. I got neo-sophisticate. The mini quizzes always get me right…

Anthropologie Introduces BHLDN

Last week, I received an email from Anthropologie announcing that they would be debuting their wedding line on the most romantic day of the year: Valentine’s Day!

I am already a huge fan of the Urban family that is Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, and Free People so when I heard this news, I just couldn’t contain my squeals. Pretty sure I have already started envisioning my dream wedding dress by Anthro.

So what is BHLDN exactly? What do these letters stand for? How do you pronounce it? What does it have to do with weddings?

The press release doesn’t give away any of those answers. The wedding brand, however, will not only include wedding and event gowns, but the other necessities involved with the wedding including decorations and DIY items already pre-made. Looks like I’m one step closer to having the perfect hipster wedding.
