And just like that, we are already somehow into the Pre-Fall collections!

Zendaya for Valentino
Every time December rolls around, I begin to think about the yearly recaps that we work on. Zendaya has had an amazing year despite one in the middle of a pandemic. She’s my favorite star to watch at the moment and she has just landed the coveted spot of being the new face for Valentino.
“The reason why we chose Zendaya as the new face for Valentino is because she perfectly embodies and represents what Valentino is and stands for, today,” said Valentino Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli in a release. “She is a powerful and fierce young woman that uses her talent and her work to express herself, her values and her generation as well.”
We couldn’t agree more! The range that Zendaya shows in her work is something to be amazed by. We’re not sure quite yet what 2021 will bring, but we do know that Zendaya hasn’t slowed down on any projects. I’m looking forward to what’s next for her!

2020 Oscars After Parties
Hailey Bieber in Versace
I might be in a minority camp here, but I honestly love the after party looks way more than the main event itself. Why, do you ask? Have you seen the looks that show up after the award show ends for the night? Every celebrity comes out and it’s a much bigger pool when you include those that aren’t nominated. Even those that were at the actual award show will come donning a second look. Plus, because the after party isn’t necessarily televised everything is just a little bit more sheer and with a little less fabric. These looks are fun, sexy, and ones that we all wish we could pull off.
Trust me when I tell you that everyone was here and we wanted to capture everything in this post, but because of the volume it was slowing down the loading of creating this.

It’s the last award show of the season! This year more than ever, it felt like it has flown by. I’m really excited to share these looks this evening though because we always expect to save the best for last. If I’m being honest, this last award show coinciding with the start of Fashion Week has felt like a lot. We’re a little bit “fashioned” out over here, but it just means that we won’t be returning back to this season again for a whole ‘nother year. Let’s make it a good one and end on a solid note.

I know it’s a little bit early to be saying this, but this might be my favorite red carpet set in a very long time. We are loving the color, the beautiful black gowns, and the off-the-shoulder looks. It was hard to narrow down my favorites and even as I’m thinking about it, I don’t know if I even can. We still have the upcoming Grammy’s and the Oscars, but this has set the bar high!
