MAX – Mug Shot

So I have this thing for Nickelodeon/Disney stars and I’m sure most of the people in my life would think this is embarrassing, but I’m not ashamed in the slightest. Max Schneider was on this Nickelodeon show that I watched every now and then called How to Rock back in 2012, but since the show was taken off the air, I followed some of his YouTube covers and enjoyed him enough to want to keep some tabs. This song featured above is actually in the trailer for the new Veronica Mars movie so it gets some street cred, doesn’t it?

Official Veronica Mars Trailer

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wq1R93UMqlk]

Veronica Mars was one of my favorite off-and-on shows growing up! The reason why I was so inconsistent in watching it was because I just couldn’t keep to the schedule very well, but you can be sure that before the film comes out I’ll find myself catching up on every episode with a marathon. The best part about this film coming out is that it was mostly funded by fans through a Kickstarter. The fans are the reason that the film was being made at all!

The fan-funded flick hits theaters on Friday, March 14 in AMC Theaters in select markets across the U.S.
The Kickstarter to fund the movie launched in February 2013 and reached its goal of $2 million in 10 hours. The Kickstarter campaign grossed more than $5.7 million.

Veronica Mars Movie Trailer

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVJhjV3EOY4#at=269]

I heard this trailer premiered at Comic Con this past weekend so there’s no way we couldn’t NOT post it up on Yow Yow! This series was one of my favorites when I was in high school. Not only was the story line just incredible and Kristen Bell such a badass, but there were so many guest appearances in the series that helped keep the show interesting. The Veronica Mars Movie was made possible through KickStarter and it’s amazing to see how much they raised to put this into production. I can’t wait to see the movie when it comes out, but I think I’m going to have to brush up on every season before that happens.

SOAPNet Continues To Slay

Currently, the SOAPNet provides me with episodes of The OC, One Tree Hill, Brothers and Sisters, and the occasional Gilmore Girls. That is simply more than enough for me. In fact, I could watch television for an entire day if those shows were on. But I wouldn’t do that…because life, you know?

Well, I just found out today that I will apparently be spending more time on SOAPNet when they add old episodes of Veronica Mars to their lineup. It’s like…they knew exactly what I wanted.
