Ariana Grande – Yours Truly

I usually feel a little guilty listening to albums before they are released, but in this case – we all know that I’ve been waiting for this album by Ariana Grande for a long time! I couldn’t wait for it to be released so … naturally it’s been on repeat all day long.

Ariana made her debut on Nickelodeon’s television series “Victorious” playing the bubbly character “Cat,” but it wasn’t long before we discovered that she could not only act, but could sing incredibly. Her voice has been compared to Mariah Carey and this summer she’s had a couple hits on the radio including “The Way” and “Baby I.”

Nope, today I’m sharing with you a cover that was introduced to be by my cousin of Ariana Grande singing Mariah Carey’s “Emotions!”

I think we’ve got a new favorite cover girl.

Also, if you didn’t recognize her, Ariana played Cat in Victorious. She was the indie manic pixie dream girl of course!

Farewell Victorious

Last night was the series finale of Victorious and though I don’t think any of us were ready for it to end, it happened. I’ve been a fan of Victoria Justice since her days on Zoey 101 so when I learned that she would be having her own show on Nickelodeon, I was a little bit excited. Yeah, whatever I’m 22. But have you seen the show? It’s hilarious – and my two little cousins absolutely adore it so it always reminded me of them. The finale was disappointing because there was never really any closure between the characters. We didn’t end up seeing what happened to them or where they ended up. We never got a last performance and we were only restricted to 30 minutes.

Victoria Justice, however, thought we deserved more so she wrote an open letter to all of her fans thanking everyone for the support over the last couple of years and where the characters ended up.

Her headlining tour? Um. Count me in.

Oh the Holidaze

I am currently watching a movie on the Disney channel with a talking puppy. So much better than the Poo-Chi I was Christmas gifted with 12 years ago. I should probably be taking my weekend off early, but I think I can spread a little bit more Christmas and news before midnight.

Miley Cyrus Moves On?

Hollywood Life has reported that Miley Cyrus has moved on to 18-year-old actor Avan Jogia. Nice choice, Miley. Avan plays Beck on Nickelodeon’s Victorious. Anyone besides me watch that show? The guy has got a nice face though…weird for me to say since I’m older than him? Nahhh. Personally, I want to see him dating Victoria Justice instead of Miley so hopefully this rumor is just a rumor.

PS: Did anyone get tickets to Miley’s secret concert promoted by Microsoft happening tomorrow in Bellevue?!
