Pretty Little Liars Throwback

The summer premiere begins at 8PM and I cannot wait! And to prepare myself, I am holed up in one place watching the marathon until then. To celebrate the premiere, this post is dedicated to the lovely Pretty Little Liars and what they all were doing before they were cast in the hit show.

First off, today is Lucy Hale’s 22nd birthday! Before she was cast as the hip and artsy Aria, Lucy was dating Wizards of Waverly Place star David Henrie. She was also in the canceled show Privileged, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and performed as a young pre-teen on American Juniors.

Troian didn’t have too many notable roles before Pretty Little Liars, but she was in Billboard Dad with the Olsen twins!

Before Pretty Little Liars, I used to get Ashley Benson mixed up with Taylor Momsen – these days that won’t be a problem. Ashley played a mean girl in Lifetime’s Fab Five: The Texas Cheerleader Scandal and a nice girl in one of the Bring It On movies, but I prefer her as the HBIC.

Shay Mitchell first breakout role was being cast as Emily Fields on Pretty Little Liars. There aren’t too many pictures of her from back in the day, but she has had a complete transformation since her first days on the set and is now a spokesperson for a line by Pantene.

Old Disney vs New Disney

Welcome to the world of Miley Cyrus, Wizards of Waverly Place, and High School Musical. Don’t get me wrong, I actually don’t mind watching them every once in a while and I’m not ashamed to admit it. When I was younger though, the Disney Channel meant so much more to me. They were more than just a television channel, their website was a kid’s playground. Now that I’ve typed that, I’ve realized how corny that sounded. Anyways, I bumped into two Disney Channel “Express Yourself” videos tonight. One is from 2010 with the new stars and the other is from…the old times, the good times.

I’m gonna go ahead and predict the favorite of the two.

I wish they would bring back Even Stevens and The Famous Life of Jett Jackson. I miss you Zoog Disney.

Dream Out Loud

Selena Gomez is the next Disney Channel star in line to debut her new clothing line. Unlike Miley’s, I’m actually excited for this one? I adore the way Selena dresses and I’m diggin’ on these two looks so I can’t wait to see the revealing of her full collection for Fall 2010.

Virgin America adds Banh Mi to their Flight Menu

There are only two things I’m going to say about this.

If you haven’t flown Virgin, you really need to.

If you haven’t eaten Banh Mi, you need to do that also.

Now you can accomplish both things in one day!

I must be dreaming if two of some of my favorite things are collaborating. Flying Virgin was quite possibly one of the best flight experiences I’ve ever had and I have done my fair share of traveling. I can safely say that I will never fly anything but Virgin. Where else can you play video games, watch 17 Again w/ dreamboat Zac Efron AND watch continuous episodes of Wizards of Waverly Place on their satellite TV?

I’ve been eating Banh Mi since I was a little girl and now I’m surprised to see that it’s hitting the mainstream of becoming a flight meal, but it wouldn’t be on the menu if it wasn’t good.
